Christmas cash for youth group

GENEROUS staff at Thornton & Ross pharmaceuticals in Linthwaite, have raised nearly £400 for local youth group Project D.

The money was raised after employee Isobel Moran, whose son attends the club, organised a raffle at the company’s Christmas party.

The group for the disabled and their peers, is run by Kirklees Council every Wednesday from 7-9pm at the Jubilee Centre in Bradley Wood.

Typical activities include, wall climbing, pottery and arts and crafts.
