Goodbye to vicar

CHILDREN parents and staff at Upper Denby First School said thank you and goodbye to the Rev Terry Robins who retires from the parish at Easter.
Children read out their fondest memories and presented him with a photo of themselves around him at Monday morning’s assembly.
Huddersfield Giants came into school to begin rugby training lastTuesday.
On Tuesday evening. Denby juniors put on a good performance in the pyramid swimming gala when, against some tough competition, they won a silver medal.
Skelmanthorpe Fire Brigade were invited to the school on Wednesday and discussed fire safety with the children.
