Treat in store with eggstra special prizes

AN eggscellent adventure ended with a haul of chocolate goodies for one Holme Valley youngster.

Shane Brook from Holmfirth, proved he was the top scavenger at a recent Easter Egg Hunt at the Sainsbury’s Market Street store, when he followed the clues in the Huddersfield centre store to answer the Easter quiz questions, which were then entered into a free prize draw.

Shane, 11, was then the lucky winner of a bumper Cadbury’s Easter hamper after his name was pulled out by duty manager, Ian Walton.

Ian said: “I am delighted to present Shane with his hamper. It was a very enjoyable event and children from Huddersfield had an absolutely fabulous time participating. We even had a few big kids joining in the fun!”

Shane’s mum, Sharron Shaw, said: “I can’t believe Shane won the Easter Egg hunt, he really enjoyed taking part and can’t wait to tuck into his prize!”
