‘Big top’ coming to little village hall

THE spectacular Rapide Brothers will be in the district next month to teach circus skills to youngsters in a one-off workshop at Birdsedge Village Hall, on Penistone Road.

Maltezer and Izzo will demonstrate their skill at juggling, unicycle riding, acrobatics, clowning, stilt walking and ladder and globe walking among others.

The cost of the workshop – on Sunday May 18 (from 1.45 to 3.45pm) is £10 a child.

Children under the age of five must be accompanied for the whole session.
