Bugs take to the woods
CHEEKY Milnsbridge tots and staff at the Jitterbugs Nursery dressed up as bugs in a bid to raise money for Meningitis UK.
The sponsored bug hunt saw the youngsters, from six months to four-years-old, walk around local woodland in a quest to spot different bugs. The bug survey results were then marked down on charts.
The tots also enjoyed a party bug tea and games and received a certificate for taking part.
Of all the infectious diseases, meningitis is the biggest killer of under fives in the UK. The money raised will go towards Meningitis UK’s ‘Search 4 a Vaccine’ campaign.
