Members of the Crosland Moor Mothers’ Union celebrated Holy Communion in St Barnabas’ Church, where the celebrant was the Rev Julian Perkins assisted by Rev Jenni Honeyman. Readings were given by Nancy Jones and the Rev Jenni. Afterwards the members held their monthly meeting in the Parish Hall, chaired by the treasurer Sheila Jaworski in the absence of the Branch Leader Joyce Rawlinson. The speaker was David Rothwell who showed a film about his visit to Kenya, Mavis Armitage proposed the vote of thanks and the hostesses were Margaret Sigsworth and Margaret Cooper. Read
