A coffee morning with lunches was held in the church school room. Members of the Mothers’ Union celebrated Holy Communion in St. Barnabas’ Church. The celebrant was the Rev Julian Perkins assisted by the Rev Jenni Honeyman and the readers were Margaret Morelli and Rev Jenni. Afterwards in the Parish Hall members heard the speaker Celia Hoskins talk about her thoughts of and her approach to the New Year. She was thanked by Elaine Broadley. Hostesses were Valerie Donoghue and Nancy Jones and the meeting was chaired by Joyce Holdsworth. At the start of the meeting a silence of respect was kept in memory of Vera Gensler a member who had recently died. Read
