Sunday parish eucharist at St David's Church was conducted by the Rev Roger Nelson. Lessons were read by Ian Macdonald and Carolyn Burley, who also led intercessions. The chalice was administered by the Rev Geoff Bamford. The creche and junior church were led by Judith Roberts and Helen Milner. The organist was Jean Chadwick. Evensong was conducted by the Rev Geoff Banks when Ian Gold read the lessons.
HONLEY
The family service at St Mary's Church was led by the Rev David Barnes. Lessons were read by Graham Wardman. Anne and Godfrey and Blount led intercessions and singing was led by the music group.
On Sunday evening, the Rev David Barnes celebrated parish eucharist when Shirley Turner read the lesson and the organist was Jean Chadwick.
UPPERTHONG
Midweek communion at St John's Church was led by the Rev Geoff Banks, who was also the celebrant. Lunch followed in the meeting room.
Early communion on Sunday was conducted by the Rev Geoff Banks, who also led the all-age family worship. The readers were Karen Beattie and Diana Stockford. The service included the baptism of Alice Evie Pryke. The organist was Adam Greenhalgh. Refreshments were served afterwards by Hilary Roberts.
WOOLDALE
The service at Wooldale Methodist Free Church on Sunday was led by Mrs Margaret Tinker and Mrs Wendy Bower. Readings were taken from Acts and Psalms both read by Margaret. Wendy spoke of enjoying the beauty of the coast while she was on holiday and that we should take more time to look around us and enjoy the beauty that God has provided for us. Eddie Askew also gave a reading and organist was Peter Coldwell.
Michael Tolson led the family service at the Methodist church. Refreshments were served afterwards. The organist was Nigel Morris.
