Friends, colleagues and family members have paid more tributes to a popular young woman who died suddenly while on her best friend’s hen do in Spain.

Dozens of well-wishers took to social media to post their condolences following the death of Natalie Beaumont, who died in hospital in Malaga last Thursday following a routine operation to drain a tooth abscess.

Before being taken ill, she and 10 friends had been enjoying a hen do which Natalie had organised for her best friend, Sam Thompson, from Cowlersley.

As reported previously, Mrs Beaumont, 31, was married to Brett Beaumont and lived at Bolster Moor.

She worked for Nationwide as a personal banking manager in Leeds, having previously worked at the Huddersfield branch.

Friends have described their shock at Natalie’s sudden death.

In a tribute on the Examiner’s Facebook page, Jo Bycroft said: “So shocked and truly saddened to read this. RIP Nat, we had some fun times back in the day. Bless you. Thoughts are with your family and friends.”

Lisa Haigh said: “Brett, I’m so sorry for your loss. I can’t believe it – only just found out on here. My thoughts are with you and Natalie’s family. Absolutely heartbreaking.”

Charlene Dennison said: “Cannot imagine what Natalie’s family and Brett are going through. Met Natalie a couple of times and she was a lovely girl. So sad.”

Suzy Barton posted: “I would sum up Nat’s as a ray of sunshine, a beautiful friend, lots of memories, so sad,”

Wendy Field said: “Sorry for your loss Brett. Such a bubbly, happy and caring person. RIP Natalie.”

Former colleague Suzanne Dyson said: “So sad. I have some great memories from when we worked together.”

Earlier this week Brett described his wife as “one of God’s wonderful people” and the kindest person he had ever met. He said Natalie had been a wonderful stepmum to his daughter Lucy.

The couple had been married for nearly five years and were due to go on holiday after the hen do.

Family members have yet to be told the cause of her death.

Brett is now awaiting the return of his wife’s body to Britain, which is being dealt with by insurers. A funeral date has yet to be set.
