Accident won't be cleared until12.45pm

A large HGV has jack knifed on the M62 blocking all lanes.

And Highways England have said traffic is not expected to clear until 12.45pm this afternoon.

Drivers are facing long delays after the food delivery lorry became trapped just before junction 22, Rishworth Moor, Eastbound, at 9.45am this morning.

Highways England and police are currently at the scene attempting to move the vehicle.

Images show the vehicle trapped against the central reservation, blocking other drivers from passing.

Motorists are being advised to avoid the area if possible and pick a different route.

Traffic is backing up to junction 20 of the motorway.
