A road in Batley has been sealed off after a man was seriously injured.
Police were called to Warwick Road with local residents saying a man had been stabbed.
Police have now said it is not thought any weapons were used but a man suffered serious injuries during an attack.
The incident happened at 10:40pm and the road was still sealed off this morning.

Warwick Road cuts through the middle. The incident happened near the school, in the centre right of the picture.
No arrests made so far
Police also confirmed that they have not yet made any arrests.
They are now awaiting an update on the condition of the victim as inquiries continue.

Police have now said a 36-year-old man was injured in the incident.
They were called at 10:40pm and found him in the street.
A spokesman said it is now not believed that any weapons were used in the attack.
