CREATIVE juices were flowing in Holmfirth at the weekend as the annual Arts Market returned.

Now in its 10th year, the arts market has grown in popularity and size and is organised by Victoria Robinson, Brendan Hesmondhalgh and Emily Stubbs.

They provide a place where both locals and visitors to Holmfirth can discover and buy a range of contemporary art, craft and design.

The event featured the works of former Stockbroker Nicola Taylor who left a career in the City of London to pursue photography.

She had become inspired by home life in North Yorkshire, folklore and illustrations from old children’s books.

And those who missed the event can still see what artistic gems they’ve brought together when it opens at Holmfirth Indoor Market all day this coming Sunday from 10am-4pm.

Admission is £2 on the door and the artists will be selling their work.
