Residents at Beechwood care home are enjoying their new-look dining room thanks to the efforts of volunteers.
The area at the Leonard Cheshire Disability home, based in Edgerton, has been transformed.
It was decorated by volunteers from JLL, a leading global real estate consultancy firm which has offices in Manchester and Leeds.
A total of 17 volunteers donned aprons and put their painting skills to the test.
They also created a mural of a ‘life tree’ which was given the thumbs up by the residents.
The day was arranged through Employee Volunteering, a not for profit organisation.
It provides volunteering experiences for every employee level within businesses right across the UK.
Gemma McCorkindale, volunteer coordinator at Beechwood, said: “The day was very well planned from start to finish.
“The residents and staff are truly delighted with the results.
“I would like to pass on my thanks to everyone who helped to make it a success.”
