FOODIES take note...
A big baking fest will be staged at Colne Valley Museum next month as part of the summer holiday entertainment programme at the Cliffe Ash, Golcar, museum.
The Biscuits and Buns Bake-in is on Saturday and Sunday August 13 and 14 – from 2-5pm both days.
The baking will take place in the Victorian kitchen, and the recipes are taken from the museum’s 40th Birthday Special Recipe Book –- 'special' for some reason or other. Some of them are mistakes that turned out great after all!
Visitors will be able to have a go, taste the results in the cafe or buy some to take home and the recipe book will be on sale for visitors to try recipes for themselves.
