A SUNDAY lunch is to be held to mark the end of the civic year.
Departing Holme Valley Parish Council chairman, Clr Trevor Bellamy, will host the three-course lunch on May 10 at the Huntsman Inn near Holmfirth.
Mayors and chairs from other local councils will be attend a civic reception at 1pm and members of the public can then join in soon after.
Entertainment will include a brass band, an auction sale and a raffle and all monies raised will go to Holmfirth MacMillan Cancer Support.
