CHILDREN made crafts at a holiday club in Clayton West.

Dozens of youngsters aged between five and 10 took part in the half-term club, hosted by volunteers from churches in Clayton West and Scissett.

As it was on All Saints day, the children were told about St George – not only the story of the dragon, but also how he helped people and put others before himself.

The theme was explored through drama, crafts, games and singing with children making flags, dragons and a candle.
