ARTISTS have put their work on display at Colne Valley Museum in Golcar.

Colne Valley Art Society’s 42nd annual exhibition runs until Monday, May 27.

The society, which meets every Thursday at the museum, has put 71 artworks on show.

The exhibits include works in oils, watercolour, acrylic, pastel and pen/wash and most are for sale to the public.

There are also some wooden craft items on display.

Colne Valley Museum opens on Saturdays and Sundays from 2pm-5pm and on bank holiday Mondays May 6 and 27 at the same times.

The society meets on Thursdays at the museum from 6.30pm.

Honorary secretary Diana Rowell said: “We are a group of friends and more of a social group than an art class.

“We only have a small meeting place at the museum, but we welcome new members.”
