Council call up
RESIDENTS can meet their councillors at a special event next week. The three representatives of the Colne Valley ward of Kirklees Council will be at Marsden Mechanics Hall from 7pm next Monday. Items on the agenda include road safety, home insulation and proposed changes to Butterley Reservoir. The Colne Valley ward – which includes Slaithwaite, Marsden, Linthwaite and Outlane – is represented by Lib Dems Clr Nicola Turner and Clr David Ridgway and Conservative Clr Donna Bellamy.
