SLAITHWAITE: November 3: A thief stole a woman’s purse while she was shopping in the Co-op in Lewisham Road. The victim had left her handbag unattended while she paid for her shopping.
November 1: Thieves stole diesel from several vehicles at Spa Fields Industrial Estate.
GOLCAR: November 4: Raiders snapped europrofile locks on a UPVC side door at a house but were prevented from getting inside because sash jammers had been fitted. On the same day a similar raid in Golcar resulted in burglars snapping the locks and breaking in. A laptop, jewellery and keys were stolen.
