TRADITIONAL treats were offered at the Colne Valley Museum this weekend at The Victorian Christmas celebration.

The event captured the spirit of the Dickensian era with spectacular fun games and traditional trimmings.

In the Victorian kitchen, by the open range, visitors kept warm and were offered mince pies by Annie Taylor and Mrs Sykes.

Father Christmas even found time in his busy schedule to call in and listen to children’s wish lists.

The fair will also be held this weekend (today and tomorrow) from 2-5pm.
