THE By and Buy Community Shop in Golcar has made a very generous donation to the Colne Valley Museum.
It has been used to help towards the development of the final cottage in the row, most recently operated as a fish and chip shop, which is due to be opened in the near future.
To express their gratitude, museum members invited shop volunteers to visit.
They were entertained by the museum volunteers who showed the scope of the work undertaken on a daily basis at the museum.
It was a great chance for two dedicated teams of volunteers to get together and socialise.
Among those present were: Andrea France, Sandra Tann, Sue Whitwam, Sue Stainton, Joan Clough, Margaret Wright, Betty Taylor, Doris Shaw, Pauline Ellis and Anne Crosland.
