DENBY DALE: June 7. Two men entered reception area of Hartcliffe Mills, Z Hinchliffe and Sons Ltd, Wakefield Road and one partly climbed through open window and removed two sets of keys from hooks fastened to internal noticeboard.

HIGH FLATTS: June 10. Suspect(s) removed and made off with large, heavy stone trough from driveway of home.

KIRKBURTON: June 7. Man knocked and entered house, telling occupant that they need to have a new meter fitted. He said “it will be done on Monday” but demanded £20 up front for the box. Occupant handed over the money and suspect left.

SHELLEY: June 5. Suspect(s) entered external farm area and removed plant items and placed them in vehicle before driving off.

June 10. Suspect(s) selected numerous high-value plants at Cross View Nurseries, Huddersfield Road, carried them to van and drove off.

SKELMANTHORPE: June 8. Vandal approached vehicle and knocked off wing mirror.

UPPER CUMBERWORTH: June 7. Suspect(s) lifted off stone topping from wall, loaded into vehicle and drove off.

June 9. Suspect(s) approached household waste recycling centre in Barnsley Road and gained entry by cutting through metal posting in fence. Once inside suspect(s) searched skips and selected unknown items before being disturbed.

WEST BRETTON: June 8. Vandal(s) approached vehicle and kicked at it, causing damage to bodywork and wing mirror.
