CROSLAND MOOR: Tuesday January 1: Two robbers burst into a woman’s home when she opened her front door to them. The men pushed past her and stole jewellery and electrical goods. Both men were black and wore black hooded tops, black tracksuit bottoms and trainers. Both were described as tall and in their early 20s.

MARSDEN: Monday December 31: Burglars snapped a Europrofile lock on a rear patio door and broke into a house. A laptop, drill and gold chain were stolen.

LINTHWAITE: Friday January 4: Thieves removed wooden slats from the back of a shed at Linthwaite Junior and Infant School. It is not known if anything was stolen.

LOCKWOOD: Sunday January 6: Thieves opened an unlocked car in Lockwood and stole a mobile phone from the centre console and a bag containing change from under the driver’s seat.

LONGWOOD: Friday January 4: Thieves smashed the passenger side window of a car at the Jitterbugs private day nursery and stole a handbag from the passenger footwell.

GOLCAR: Saturday January 5: Door panels were kicked in at the Wheel Inn in James Street.
