SAFETY TALKSHolme Valley Pcsos Keith Hollick and Jill Chamberlain accepted an invitation to Honley Village Hall to talk to a group of adults with learning difficulties. They spoke about road safety and personal safety which was very well received and both educational and fun.

CRIME - GOLCAR ROBBERYA male was robbed on Knowl Road on February 20. Two white men driving a silver car got out and produced a knife and demanded property. They stole £100 cash and two mobile phones.

BURGLARYTwo houses on Arthur Street, were attacked. The thieves forced the locks off the upvc doors to get in. Cash and a watch were stolen. A house on Moorcroft Avenue was attacked in the same way. Jewellery was stolen. Also, a house on Intake was attacked in the same way, but the alarm activating prevented anything from being stolen.

VEHICLE CRIME COWLERSLEYA vehicle has had both its registration plates stolen on Grove Street.The number is YG04FGJ. A gold coloured Rover registration X821 XBB was stolen from Kinder Avenue, Cowlersley. Thieves approached a car on Dirker Drive overnight and siphoned off its diesel.

Holme Valley meetings are at Holmfirth Police Station on the last Thursday of the month from 6pm. Colne Valley meetings are at Longwood Mechanics Hall on the first Saturday of the month between 10am - 12noon.
