IT was interesting to read the news articles regarding the expenses non-investigation of a number of MEPs.
Not surprisingly another batch of politicians with their snout in the taxpayer funded trough have been found out to be up to no good. But no fear Gordie and his clowns along with the Euro commission will investigate thoroughly and obtain a refund of our cash and suspend those found to be at fault.
Of course not. The first thing to do under Euro law is to sack the whistleblower, restrict the report to only those who can be “trusted” with such information and then sweep the matter under the Euro carpet.
This has happened with those in charge stating the matter has not been dealt with secretly since a select bunch of politicians have seen the damning report. There is to be no action against anyone and the report will not be published for the likes of you and me to read.
Perhaps our local MPs and the MEP for the region could comment on this matter. I doubt we will hear a peep from any of them.
Must get back to work, the trough needs topping up.
