KIRKLEES states that the fortnightly bin collections are a success. They are not in Lindley!
I recycle everything that can be, but the refuse collectors now on the grey collection take bags out of the bin if the bin lid is not shut properly. How pathetic and causing themselves more work. They now place a red sticker on the bin and place the bag on the highway and leave it.
This did not happen when we were on the weekly collection so why is it happening now when it’s obvious to the normal person that the grey bin will be over flowing with two weeks rubbish? This is most annoying as I am sure Kirklees will make plenty of money on the new glass collection from our street alone. I also have two green bins. Looking forward to the council’s excuses!
