I HAVE just read the very moving account of Pte Frampton’s funeral.
My sympathy to the family and families of the others who died in that incident.
How Mrs Charlesworth found the strength to read her son’s final letter aloud I don’t know.
The image carried on your front page of Mrs Charlesworth alongside her son’s coffin in the hearse should be hung on the wall of the Cabinet Room as a reminder to those elected to serve us of the possible consequences of their decisions.
