Pentland Infant and Nursery School in Dewsbury has been given a 2-Good rating by Ofsted.

The 192-pupil school was judged to be good in all areas by the Government inspectors.

Pupils make an exceptional start to their education and continue to make rapid progress and are generally above average by the end of Year 2.

Teaching is good and effective bilingual support ensures pupils quickly become confident in their learning.

Significant changes in school over the last three years, many at senior level, have been dealt with well by headteacher Kathy Coates-Mohammed.
