A coconut shy, hook-a-duck and helter skelter were included in the fun when the Highfields summer fair took place.

Huddersfield town crier Vic Watson opened the funfair themed event at the Cemetery Road resource centre.

The centre offers a wide range of day activities for adults needing social care support.

Some of the projects being worked on by people with learning disabilities were on display at the event, including a helter skelter with ribbons weaved into a willow frame.

Flowers and plants grown by the garden project were also on sale, as well as disco music and games.
