School’s students in Meadowhall swap shop
STUDENTS swapped their classroom for a shopping centre. Year 10 and Year 12 business studies students at Hipperholme Grammar School went to have lessons at Meadowhall, near Sheffield. It was part of their course and they were joined by head of business studies Miss Alison Hebron. The students’ brief was to conduct research into the different types of business ownership in Meadowhall as well as learn about the running and organisation of the Shopping Centre. Not surprisingly, there was still time for some essential “shopping” before the visit concluded – purely in the interests of business studies, of course!
