Opportunist thief approached and stole the phone before running off. Suspect: white male, Irish accent, about 5ft 10 inch tall, wearing black beanie hat. Mill Moor Road, Meltham, July 17. Raider approached barn on farmland and got inside through insecure wooden doors at back. He then went out through another door into a yard area and stole green John Deere tractor NX10DWV and grass cutter attached to tractor. Meltham, July 18. Wooden garden gate stolen.
BURGLARYJackson Bridge, July 17. Raider approached victim’s vehicle and got inside to steal house keys which he used to get into through back door. Suspect searched whole building before being disturbed by the occupant of house and made off empty handed. Thongsbridge, July 17. Raiders got on to house roof above kitchen and stole lead flashing. Hepworth, July 18. Raider prised open corrugated metal sheeting to get into barn and steal Land Rover – later recovered – and tools. The cobbles, Meltham, July 17. Raider prised off metal mesh covering window then remove window from frame to get into building and force internal wooden door. Tungstone blocks and steel packing kits stolen.

Front nearside quarterlight smashed and attacker reached in and searched glovebox, but nothing stolen.
