HOLMFIRTH: Nov 2. Would-be burglar forced garage door in bid to get inside, but could not get in because of steel gates located behind door. Two other garages in block broken into, but alarm activated and suspect/s made off empty handed.
Nov 5.Thief got into unlocked van through sliding door and stole a Stihl petrol strimmer.
Devine Boutique, Huddersfield Road. Nov 3. Thief went into shop during openings times and stole mobile phone from side of the till.
MELTHAM: Nov 2. Raider got into farm building under construction and then into barn by bending back and damaging corrugated iron surround, and stole power tools and 5x10 foot Ifor Williams trailer with a cut-down tailgate.
