IT IS the newest take-away in town and possibly the most enterprising.

Fasta Pasta is what it says it is. An outlet in Huddersfield’s Queensgate Market which serves up hot or cold pasta.

It is already proving a big hit with students from the nearby university who may well recognise the business duo behind it.

For Fasta Pasta is an idea not just created, but delivered, by Jeff Postlethwaite and Adam Thompson, a pair of business studies students.

Dragon’s Den star Theo Paphitis, who mentors business students at the university, thinks the duo have hit on a great idea.

It’s already proving to be the real deal in business terms and the two students saying they are learning fast about the realities of retail start-up and staff management.

What they have done in terms of investing their talent and their money into launching a new venture in such tough times should be a lesson to us all on the power of positive thinking.
