TRUE community spirit is alive and well in Huddersfield with a firm donating all the glass for the conservatory refurbishment in Greenhead Park.
Ken Woodcock set up his glass business near the park 20 years ago and now employs 50 people.
But he has never forgotten his business roots and wanted to thank those who had supported him.
And what better way than to cut and supply 450sq metres of glass – an amazing 2,000 panes.
This is a man who cares about his town’s past heritage and has shown a great commitment to its future.
Let’s hope others follow his generous lead and get involved in similar projects around Huddersfield.
