THE subject of immigration is one that sparks fierce debate.
And as far as politicians go, it is very much a hot potato. Many have forthright views on the number of immigrants coming to Britain especially when they prove to be an enormous drain on the benefits system.

Lizzy Thornton is engaged to her Texan beau, Lewis Batohie, and the pair had hoped to settle in England. Lewis is working in DIY stores in his home town of San Antonio, Texas, and was confident of finding a job in that field in the UK.
