JENNIE Green doesn’t think she is any different from any other mum.

But this busy 30-year-old from Linthwaite has just been named as “one-in-a-million” and when you hear about her hectic life, you will understand why.

For Jennie and her husband, hospital porter Jamie, look after three young children who all share a tissue disorder which means they have to be fed through tubes.

That would tax many but Jennie also runs a charity to help other families, is studying to be a nurse and is an agent for a Christmas savings club.

Her award means that for the first time in 10 years, these devoted parents will get a weekend away together.

They certainly deserve recognition and our admiration for the way in which they give so much and still have time to think of others.
