Jurors will today continue deliberations in the Marsden murder trial.

The jury was sent home yesterday afternoon after four hours of discussions in the murder trial following the death of Scottish piper Craig Hepburn.

Mr Hepburn, 19, was stabbed 11 times during a frenzied late-night attack on July 6 last year.

The jury at Leeds Crown Court has to decide if Luke Elliott, 23, of Grange Cottage, Marsden, and Anthony Driver, 36, of Main Avenue, Cowlersley, are guilty or not of Mr Hepburn’s murder and the attempted murder of his friend Conor Paton. They deny all charges.
