Meltham cub scouts pick up highest awards

CUBS Thomas Haley Porteous and Owen Warwicker have been awarded the highest honour for cub scouts.

CUBS Thomas Haley Porteous and Owen Warwicker have been awarded the highest honour for cub scouts.

The pair, both 11 and from Meltham, have received the Chief Scout Silver Award.

The two took part in various arts and crafts, first aid, astronomy, conservation and physical activities including swimming, archery, climbing and shooting.

Thomas and Owen will join Honley and Meltham Scouts respectively where they will be able to earn their Chief Scout Gold Awards.
