TODAY will be a tough day for Lyndsay White.

A year ago her son Charlie died aged just 15 after a battle with cancer.

A talented young footballer, Charlie’s love of sport has rubbed off on his mum, who will run the London Marathon in his memory.

Since Charlie’s death his family and friends have raised money for the causes which helped them during difficult times, from the hospital where he was treated to cancer charities.

It takes a lot of strength and determination to come to terms with such a loss, to then use it to help others shows a selfless attitude. And in doing something positive, Lyndsay keeps her son’s memory alive and helps other families who are experiencing what she, Charlie, their family and friends. have.

Good luck to Lyndsay and Sue.
