GOOD to read in the Sunday papers that Gordon and his clan have decided to permit those with more than one wife the opportunity to claim benefits for each wife.
This wasn’t voted on in Parliament, that I am aware of, nor were the public consulted. Gordon talks a lot of guff about consulting the public, pity he never gets round to it.
Surely it is still illegal in this country to be married to more than one person at a time, thus it must be illegal for the Government to be encouraging this by providing benefits in this way. Not only is it illegal – its called bigamy, Mr Brown – but it is also abhorrent that politicians think the taxpayer should fund these people’s cultural preference. We have enough spongers to support with our hard earned cash, eg; politicians, without adding a further bunch to the gravy train.
Mr Brown, this is not only unfair on the taxpayers but a disgrace that you thought it so distasteful you slipped it in, while no one was looking, via the back door. I do hope Kali and Barry are going to have a serious word with Gordon – talk about being a recruitment sergeant for the BNP!
