Prince Charles was famous for talking to his plants.

Now a new exhibition has launched in Mirfield called Chatting with the Fauna.

The exhibition at the Creative Arts Hub in Huddersfield Road runs until March 8. It features prints, paintings, drawings and sculpture by Holmfirth-based artist Fabric Lenny and has been inspiring schoolchildren to create their own mini masterpieces. Pupils from Crossley Fields, Old Bank and Battyeford schools in Mirfield have taken part in workshops, co-ordinated by teacher Natalie Deane from Battyeford Primary.

The exhibition includes new drawings, paintings, prints and animation by Fabric Lenny, a well-known artist who has developed a national reputation in the field of education, together with a series of paintings made in collaboration with American artist Jonathan Grauel.

The gallery is open to visitors from Wednesday to Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 3pm.
