A TEENAGER is helping other young people achieve their aims.
Georgia Power, of New Mill, is working with the charity Changemaker.
The 17-year-old Huddersfield New College student said: “They have a programme called Imagine, Involve, Inspire, which helps young people do something they’re passionate about.
“It could be someone who loves football and wants to set up a team, or a musician who wants to form a band.”
Georgia is encouraging people aged 16 to 25 in Huddersfield to come forward and get a share of the £65,000 national pot. She plans to hold an open evening about Changemakers at Huddersfield New College soon.
Georgia won a place on Changemaker’s youth leadership team and completed a training course in Leicester.
