1. What has been the highlight of policing Huddersfield North during 2012?

"We have experienced a significant increase in the number of people who have confidence in my team and are satisfied with the service.

"We have also experienced huge falls in crime compared to this time last year."

2. What was the most challenging issue facing North Huddersfield over the past 12 months?

"To date I have not experienced a reduction in my staffing levels. With the way things are I have been lucky and the inevitable may happen this year.

"Regardless, my team and I are wholeheartedly committed to improving our service to all our communities. By working with our communities we have and will continue to make improvements to the service we deliver and keep everybody safe."

3. What are you looking forward to for 2013 in terms of community projects/ initiatives?

"The new look Greenhead Park will no doubt see the number of events taking place in its grounds increase this year. We also assist with many public events to further cement ourselves at forefront of the community.

"I would encourage any community group to contact my team and invite us along to events or meetings."

4. If you had to pick one issue to focus on for 2013 what would it be?

"It is imperative that we strive to improve our service to all our communities and even more imperative that our communities work even harder with us to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour even further."

5. Any New Year message for the community?

"Despite the national economic picture the new year will no doubt promise some exciting new opportunities and positive experiences for us all if we work together and for each other. We can and will strive to reduce crime and make Huddersfield North a much safer place for all of us."
