FARTOWN: May 13 at 6pm. Attempted burglary at house. Suspect snapped europrofile lock, but nothing stolen.

FIXBY: May 16 at midnight. Stone paving flags stolen from wall.

SHEEPRIDGE: May 16 at 3pm. Criminal damage to a vehicle by throwing white paint over it.

FIXBY: May 16 at 4pm. Garden furniture stolen from front of house. Suspects are two females in red Toyota Avensis.

DEIGHTON: May 18 at 8.30am. Copper piping stolen from garden of house.

FARTOWN: May 19 at 1.40am. Living room window of house smashed.

ASHBROW: May 19 at 3am. Electric security wire stolen from field.

BIRKBY: May 13 at 11pm. Motorbike taken without owners consent. Later recovered.

BIRKBY: May 13 at 11pm. Both registration plates stolen from vehicle.

FARTOWN: May 17 at 3.50pm. Bogus police caller knocked on back door of house and informed occupant that the police knew they have been burgled and wanted to see their cash. The victim counted out cash and when distracted the suspects make off with a quantity of it. Suspect is described as white male, in his 30s, under 6ft, slim build, clean shaven.Householders are reminded to check for police identification and if in doubt about authenticity call the non emergency police number 101.
