PANCAKE fans had a flipping good time – and helped boost a local charity.
To celebrate Shrove Tuesday members of Gledholt Methodist Church held a pancake party.
They tucked into over 100 pancakes at the Edgerton Grove Road church.
Church members covered the cost of the ingredients so that all of the money raised could be donated to the Joseph Salmon Trust.
The Marsh-based charity provides financial assistance to parents living in Huddersfield, Halifax and Mirfield who have lost children.
