The White House was even whiter late last week.
Anyone watching news pictures out of the United States will be probably thinking the weather in the US capital is as changeable as here in the UK. They would be right. Low pressure has been tracking further north and after a warm week at times in Washington DC and reporters in shirts this weekend saw a change. There was an inch of snow and ice in the capital Sunday a colder air moved south as low pressure moved south as well. This is quite a late winter storm for the capital and covered the White House and sent reporters once again rushing for overcoats. North of this across New York it was mostly dry but cold with temperatures a few degrees above freezing. So spring continues to bring a variety of weather phenomena to the United States.
