Villagers in battle to save community pub from flat development in Holywell Green
It's great to see the ‘locals’ get behind their pub, but I can't help but feel that it takes more than a dedicated bunch of well meaning people in a half mile radius to make a successful business. I do wish them well but urge them not to invest anymore than they are prepared to lose.

I am sure Mr Kingsman is a decent chap but those answers are just political sound bites.
You don’t have to be in his position to understand that it is impossible to give the same service with less officers, no matter what figures are quoted.
It is my understanding that the neighbourhood policing teams he mentions are made up mostly of Blunkett Bobbies who can’t arrest people or investigate offences, so let’s watch this space.
