STAFF at a Huddersfield distribution company have raised more than £1,000 for charity.
A team from Netherton-based The Pink Link, were joined by family and friends in the 5k Race for Life in Huddersfield.
They wore pink outfits to take part in the fundraising run.
The Pink Link is no stranger to charitable causes – having completed numerous runs and hosted various events to raise almost £93,000 for good causes over the past 10 years.
Vicki Davenport, sales and commercial director, said: “We started supporting Cancer Research UK in 2001 as we wanted to do something to help all the women out there affected by cancer.
“We are delighted to have reached our target amount and want to thank everyone who supported us.
“We have now completed five Race for Life events, raising over £4,700 – and I’m sure we’ll be involved in many more.”
