Planning is now underway for the 100th Mirfield Allotments & Gardens Society Annual Show after the success of this year’s event.

There were 465 entries submitted by 41 exhibitors and St Paul’s Church, Eastthorpe again proved the ideal venue.

Society chairman Alan Wilkinson said: “Our 99th annual show was a great success and we are now working towards making our 100th next year even better.

“Entries are always welcome from non-members and we have a limited number of allotment plots available to Mirfield residents.”
