A heated debate

I FELT I needed to write in after reading an Examiner article ion March 15 about Kentucky Fried Chicken refusing to warm a baby’s bottle.

Well done, KFC. It’s a shame the mother of seven and many others don’t realise that by warming an alreadyŠmade up bottle of formula milk you can upset your baby’s stomach more then giving it at room temperature.

Bacteria grows in the bottle once it’s made. Bottles of formula should be made up fresh each time or given at room temperature.

I suggest if parents want to give warm milk to their babies they carry a flask of water which will keep warm or put just the water in the bottle and keep warm in a bottle warmer until required.

IfŠ mothers think this is not correct I suggest they research it on the various baby milk websites before they start criticising restaurants and cafes for follow correct health and safety policy.
